Jeremy Ee Xian Hong

Updated: Nov 30, 2020

Hello there, my name is Jeremy Ee. I'm 18 this year and people say I look like 15 still because I have a baby face. I am currently studying Diploma in Broadcasting and Film. I joined this course as an April intake student and it's currently my 2nd semester currently.

- My Photography Story -

I first began having interest in photography at the age of 13 but never got really into it until the age of 16. When I was in high school, I use to take photos of events to tell the story of the event & how big the event was. At that time I used my phone to take those photos as I still did not have any DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.

I got my first DSLR on 2019 & I've been practising to use it since then. Even though the photos I took recently is still not that good, I've improved a lot from my high school time & I hope to improve more. Because my DSLR is a 2nd hand camera, I've rented a Sony A6300 a few times to take some of the photos because it looks nicer and it has better functions than my current DSLR.

LINES OF MEMORY

This photo reminds me of the days when I started to play the piano. Back then, I only knew how to play a few notes and now I could play many music pieces like Hungarian Rhapsody No.2. This photo is closed up to remind me the time when I could only play these few notes at a time.

LIGHT UP THE DARK

This photo tells a story about a boy who just got his heart broken by someone. He had recently gone through a break up and is trying to recover. The reason the surrounding is dark is to show how broken he is & the only source of light is his lighter. The lighter is to represent his small light left in his heart which can barely even light up.

UNWASTED

This photo that I've taken shows the inhumane thinking of us Malaysians as we like to litter everywhere. This photo was taken in Klang & it shows why Klang is one of the dirtiest cities in Malaysia even though it's beautiful without the rubbish around us. If we all take our time to throw our rubbish at the right spot, we will get to see a better Malaysia.
