Denzel Tan Zi-Liang

My name is Denzel and I'm 19, currently studying at IACT College. Ever since I bought my first DSLR in 2017: the Nikon D3400, I've been using it to explore photography wherever I go. Now, it's basically a little hobby of mine.

I believe photography can not only serve as a enjoyable pastime, but it can also expand one's horizons, opening our eyes to notice things we don't typically notice. It also helps us to appreciate the world around us more. To capture the perfect moment at the right time and place; the satisfaction I feel after knows no bounds.

Colour

I visited my friends' dodgeball competition at Sunway University. To my surprise, they all arrived in uniform, so that came as a bonus to me.

Line

While waiting for their round to start, I noticed that the lines on the ground stood out from the court, so I had one of my friends lay down on it.

Conceptual (Product)

I had my mother let go of her old running shoes as I took it. I also wanted to take advantage of golden hour. We experimented throwing it upwards and forwards. Eventually, we settled on gravity.
