Henlo Beootiful Peepo!

It’s Shermine here. I'm a 19-year-old student, currently pursuing Diploma in Mass Communication at IACT College. Having Digital Imaging and Photography class is the most exciting for me in this semester. Huge thanks to Ms Ain who guides us all the way from adjusting the cam settings to editing of pictures. I love art. I mean, every form of art. Growing up with the hobbies of writing, drawing, performing and mostly I love creating. For me, photography is more than just that. It's about connecting, exploring, expressing and creating. I guess that's the beauty of photography.

To take these pictures, I play my lists of favourite song – Draft an idea – Set up the lighting – Focus on the subject – “Ka-Chic” and here we go with an amazing photo. Out of all the photos I've taken for assignments submission, I sorted out 5 of my favourite shots and here you go. Enjoy!

Camera used: Nikon d7000
Editing Software: Adobe Lightroom Classic
                         Adobe Photoshop CC 2019

Baby’s Breath symbolises everlasting love, compassion, and pureness.

This picture was taken for my first assignment, in the subject of ISO. I love how Baby's Breath brings along the meaning of love, purity as well as sincerity. The flowers, the colour of the background, the novel, I love all of it about the photo.

“ Don’t look for love, let it finds you. ”

Stop forcing yourself to love someone so you won’t be alone. Stop looking for love, it will find you eventually. Here, take this Baby’s Breath flower and I am telling you that you deserve all the love. Learn your way around loneliness with self-love as at the end of the day, it’s all about falling in love with yourself first. #Selflovematters

This photo was used for assignment under the subject of Shutter speed. I tried a hundred times to capture the moment of the falling petals and it took me almost two hours just to get 3 pictures of it, tiring but fun.

" Falling leaves are beautiful too. "

Have you ever seen the leaves fall from a tree? Do you think they were in fear? Most people are scared of falling, they never enjoy their lives, living inside the box and they are so afraid of taking chances. But you have to understand, it’s okay to fall, and it’s okay to not figure things out yet. Take a step out of your comfort zone and try to work on something you love. Believe me, it’s all gonna work out someday.

Advertising Corner

These pictures are from the series of photos I took for my advertising assignment, which I had chosen the brand D’ Coeur, a hair perfume treatment. It was kind of difficult to have myself as the photographer and model at the same time. But I made it with the help of my mum.

And yeah, I got my make up done by my mum and she was so proud of how the picture turns out. Huge thanks and love you mum! xoxo

“ Eyes talk. ”

"Eyes are the windows to the soul," they said. It means, you can see through someone else by eye contact. Let your eyes talk sometimes. You will see, it tells more than the words could ever say.

Portraiture

For my Portraiture Assignment, I planned to have a series of pictures with the elements of flower and I invited my friend, Zoey, to model for me and look how amazing she is here!

“ Just the way you are. ”

There will always be hard time in our lives. But hey, stop doubting yourself. You are just perfect exactly as you are. With all your flaws and problems, there's no need to change anything as the problem is the way how you see the problems. If you're reading this now,

I hope something good happens to you today. You are loved!

Thank you for your time looking through my work and I hope you really enjoy it! Feel free to leave a comment as it means alot to me! Have a good day ahead Beootiful Peepo :D
