| PRESS START |

Hi everyone! Welcome to my page, I am Renee Chong, and people usually call me Renee (Ri-knee). I am currently 18 and have the spirit of a 5 year old.

I am a graphic design student in IACT college. I love taking pictures as long as their not me then I will be more than willing to do it! Other than that, anything related to drawing and art in general is something I love to do.

I think that art expresses feelings and meaning in a very unique way and each individual style has it's own meanings and expressions which I find simply amazing.

LEVEL 1 : BEING WITHIN NATURE.

ree

You might be confused by what's going on here but it's the trunk of a tree but in a close up shot with a Huawei Nova 2 Lite.

I took this picture before the MCO. When I took this picture, it was on impulse and it meant noting, other than it was a wood trunk.

But, when I took a second look, I saw the amount of cracks in the trunk. It reminded me that it takes a lot to be a strong tree. It takes a lot of perseverance and hardship in life to become a strong person.

So even though it's just something we see on a daily basis without thinking so much about it, we can learn something from it.

LEVEL 2 : TECHNIQUES.

ree

Then college came around then I had more proper techniques in photography. This was to represent the technique framing in photography. I found it really cool to use what we see on a daily basis and making it into a special moment.

This was taken with a Lumix GX9. It was one of my first time using a proper camera to take pictures and it was a cool experience to play around with the ISO to make each picture give out a different vibe.

LEVEL 3 : DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

ree

According to the dictionary, diamond in the rough means, "someone or something with potential or talent but lacking training or polish." I think that's exactly what this pictures represent.

Why you might ask, because the picture on it's own wouldn't have been so interesting, it was with the help of editing and intense sparkles that the product came out so magical. It's the power of photshop that made the original the diamond that it is now. This was taken with the Lumix GX9 too.

| THE JOURNEY CONTINUES |

Throughout the pass few months I've learned a lot and this journey is not stopping anytime soon. Once you press start in life you can only continue leveling up, because there's an endless sea of experience and knowledge for us to go through and learn so buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Hope you enjoy reading my page. :D
