Ayo this is @pearly_pearlyy speaking, twenty-three this year, previously an accounting student but now a student of IACT College for Diploma in Graphic Design. This #stayathome period has really did its job by looking at the happy face my parents have on them for being able to keep me at home. Finally have the chance to properly learn and do photography this time and I realise that it is really fun from thinking of a concept, planning out, photoshoot and up to the editing process. Definitely looking forward to more good photos to be taken in the future with the knowledge I have now. You will probably find out below, that one of my favourite element to use in photography is spacing to create minimalist visual outcome. Below are some photos that I have taken for the #stayathome series with Canon EOS 5D Mark II and iPhone 7.
Captain Ball Used to be my must-have routine almost twice a week, but having to put it on hold ever since the Covid-19 break out. Miss running around the court and screaming all the time complaining "so tired, I cannot, how many minutes more to go, can we rest", miss the claps and encouragement, miss the people and our mamak bonding time after every game. This may be one of the longest period that we put our weekly routine on hold but it has taught us to appreciate and push ourselves one step further to do what are able to do at this moment even though we are far apart. Knowing that I am not the only one who has been missing all these, and we all know that we will be returning anytime soon.

Baking Bought during MCO period before the semester starts. Bread, burnt cheesecake, pandan cake, banana cake, cookies and more. There are times of failure of course, the bread dough for not raising, some being burnt in the oven, or the salty chocolate chip cookies. Anyway, glad that it is all good now!
Soft boiled egg Not from the Kopitiam or Warung out there, it’s at home! Yes, been a while since I had the perfect soft boiled egg that my dad mastered in. He has always been so proud of this skill. It’s easy but always lazy to do it by ourselves at home, right? As simple as breakfast like this, as precious as it is.
Kiko
This is Kiko at the playground, a golden retriever, not my pet though, belongs to one of my friend’s, also the only one that stays the nearest to me in Klang.
By the way, yes, Kiko is clingy, she loves ‘skin ship’, even while taking a photo.

Sze Wei She is 22, studying Civil Engineering in National Tsing Hua University, China. She managed to return back to Malaysia during the Chinese New Year break, before China's lockdown, which then followed by Malaysia. Not sure when is the tertiary education system going to be resumed in China and when the Malaysia’s border is reopening, but pandemic definitely will not stop education from going on despite being far away like us in IACT, or even studies abroad. During the #stayathome period we finally have the chance to stay away from the hustle bustle out there, no social events to attend, no make up is necessary at home, the best time for our skin take a breath. As a person who has been working in the skin care industry for more than a year, and I have to say this, practice the habit and stick to your daily skin care routine. Do not fail it! #selflove #skincare
Yes this pandemic hit us hard and it is will not get easier with the new normal during the recovering period. We all have to play our part to get things back on to the track.
